    Get Involved: Activities & Student Orgs

    The International and Off Campus Programs Office has a variety of programs for both international and domestic students. Our office also advises the International Student Organization (ISO) and the Hamline International Graduate Student Association (HIGSA). The list below is just a few of the activities that we organize.

     

    UPCOMING PROGRAMS & EVENTS

    IOCP Winter Trip: Afton Alps (February 23, 2013) 
    The IOCP winter sports trip is back! Join us Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 1 pm (we will meet at the fireplace at the Anderson Center) for an afternoon of snow-tubing, skiing, and snowboarding at the great Afton Alps! No matter if you are a beginner, advanced learner or pro, the courses at Afton Alps will suit your needs. Our office will provide transportation and cover all expenses (lift tickets, equipment). All you need to take care of is food and drink for the day which can be brought with or purchased at Afton Alps. We will be back on campus by 7 pm. Sign up now as space is limited to 20 students. Spots are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Happy snow-action!

    Student Orgs

    International Student Organization (ISO)  
    The International Student Organization serves to foster international and intercultural awareness within the Hamline undergraduate community. ISO actively participates in programs such as World Fest, Global Connections Retreat, International Coffee Hours and most other international related events. During Spring 2012 semester, ISO will hold bi-weekly meetings on Tuesday evenings at 5:30pm in Robbins Science Center.     Hamline International and Graduate Student Association (HIGSA)  
    The Hamline International Graduate Student Association (HIGSA) serves to support and foster international and intercultural awareness within the Hamline graduate community. HIGSA actively runs off campus networking events, employment workshops, as well as participating in other events run by the International and Off Campus Programs. Contributors to programs include: Global Studies Department, Hedgeman Center for Student Diversity Initiatives and Programs, Model United Nations, Wesley Center for Spirituality, Service and Social Justice and the Career Development Center.
