    International Student's Parents / Guardians

    Welcome to Hamline University!

Hamline is dedicated to preparing compassionate citizens of the world by helping students maximize their intellectual, creative, and leadership potential.
To that end, we are preparing a new generation of “globalists”—leaders who will bridge the differences between people and nations in an effort to build a more peaceful and sustainable world. We are excited to have your son or daughter participate in one of our programs, either short- or long-term, and ask that you encourage and support your student on his/her journey.

At Hamline, we are dedicated to offering students a quality program to address their academic, professional, and personal goals. During orientation, we will provide students with the information needed to launch their study abroad experience in the USA. Please ask your student to share these materials with you. These students, your son or daughter included, are about to become part of a program that will be transformative not only for them, but for everyone they come in contact with.

If you have any questions or issues regarding your child please feel free to contact us.

    Sincerely,

    Kari Richtsmeier, Ph.D
