Benefit Timeline Depending on eligibility, benefits are effective on the first of the month following the date of hire. Changes can be made to benefit elections during the initial enrollment period, Annual Open Enrollment, or within 30 days of a Life Event. When logging into this site, you will need your Hamline ID, the last for digits of your social security number, and the year of your birth. Your user ID is your Hamline ID, your Personal Identification Number (PIN) is the last four digits of your social security number and the last two digits of the year you were born (a total of six digits).
