Housing Options Students have a variety of options for on-campus housing including Residence Halls, Apartments, and University owned houses. Residence Halls - Living in one of Hamline's residence halls offers you a wide range of special housing options and living arrangements including Honors communities, quiet floors, special interest floors, and multi-gender and single gender living. Hamline Apartments - Opened in August 2000, the Hamline University Apartments offer students convenient and comfortable on-campus living in a community of sophomore, junior, and senior undergraduate students and graduate students. Hamline Houses - Assignment to on-campus houses is based upon criteria developed by the house's sponsoring department or student organization. Currently, we offer a PRIDE Black Student Alliance House, Hmong Student house, and HALO Hispanic and Latino Organization house. Neighborhood Renting - The Neighborhood and Renting site is intended to help students in their search process and help them maintain good relationships with their roommates, landlords, and neighbors. Summer Housing - Hamline offers short term housing for students during the summer months of June through August. Summer Conference/Group Housing - Hamline offers short term housing for conferences and groups during the summer months of June and July. Winter Break Housing - Hamline offers housing over winter break for all on-campus students.
