    The purpose of the Hedgeman Honors and Awards is to recognize and celebrate student achievements, accomplishments and contributions to the Hamline community.

    Please consult the award descriptions and nominate a deserving faculty, staff or student.

    Nominations will be accepted through April 5th.

    All award recipients will be announced at the Hedgeman Honors and Awards on Thursday, April 25th.

    Sexualities and Gender Diversity Initiatives, Spectrum, and the Social Justice Program will hold a Rainbow Series Keynote: Perverse Borders: Sexuality, National Security, and the Policing of Undocumented People on Thursday, March 2, 2017 from 6:30-8:30p.m. in Anderson Center Room 305. 

    Come to the Women's Month event, Stories of the People: Text, Movement, and Music on Wednesday, March 1 at 7 p.m. in Anderson 112. This evening of text, movement, and music will feature writers who contributed to the recent anthology A Good Time for the Truth: Race in Minnesota

    Sexualities and Gender Diversity Initiatives is accepting nominations for the Merv Meyer/Jeff Nash Scholarship. The scholarship is awarded to a College of Liberal Arts junior or senior with financial need who is self-proclaimed gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender; and is actively involved in community service outside the classroom. Please submit nominations online, the deadline to submit is Friday, March 3, 2017.
