For the second year in a row, a team of five students from the Hamline University’s School of Business placed in the top 10% of world-wide MBA teams competing in a Capstone computer-simulation game produced by Capsim Corporation of Chicago.

KARE11 recently produced a feature story about Hamline's historic standing as the birthplace of intercollegiate basketball. Only four years after basketball was invented, Hamline hosted the first basketball game between two college teams. See the full story online.

Hamline will celebrate International Women's Day with an event on Saturday, March 11 from 8:30-11 a.m. Anderson Center 112. Sheryl WuDunn, the first Asian-American reporter to win a Pulitzer Prize, will offer the morning keynote, with workshops and opportunities to engage with organizations to follow. The day is designed to catalyze activism and highlight advancements and challenges in women's rights and equality.

Hamline University President Fayneese Miller was recently named to the Amherst H. Wilder Foundation Board of Directors. She joins 11 other board members comprising the governing board of the foundation. President Miller also recently joined the Board of Directors for Twin Cities Public Television.
