  • Teaching and Learning Showcase

One way that the Center for Teaching and Learning promotes effective teaching practices is by encouraging faculty to share teaching tips and new pedagogical strategies for face-to-face and online teaching. The CTL Teaching and Learning Showcase is intended to be used as a virtual space for faculty to share effective teaching and learning practices with the rest of the Hamline community.

Please contact the Center for Teaching and Learning if you would like to share a teaching and learning practice that has positively impacted the teaching and the learning of your students. The center will capture your contribution in the form of a write-up, video, and/or blog post.

    Current showcase contributions:

    • Bill Lindquist, HSE on the use of Web 2.0 tools for student collaboration.

    • Matt Morgan, CLA on the use of TurningPoint clickers and ResponseWare to promote student engagement.

    • Andy Rundquist, CLA on three technologies that have dramatically changed the way he teaches

    • Deirdre Kramer, CLA on using Elluminate Live for student collaboration.
