  • Quality Matters at Hamline University

Hamline University supports and promotes best practices in course development by applying an inter-institutional quality assurance rubric called Quality Matters (QM). Quality Matters is a nationally recognized, faculty-centered, peer-review process designed to certify the quality of online courses and online components.

The Center for Teaching and Learning supports Hamline faculty in applying the standards identified by Quality Matters (QM) when developing web-enhanced, blended, and fully online courses. The following rubric is used by the CTL to guide and evaluate the online course development process.

Faculty resources can be found under the Faculty Resource tab. Please feel free to use and customize these resources for your course.
