    Sunday, March 26 marks the 190th anniversary of the death of musical paragon Ludwig Von Beethoven. On Tuesday, March 28 at 7:30 p.m, Sundin Music Hall and the St. Croix Piano Trio present a concert of his music featuring the violin sonata nicknamed the Kreutzer, the piano sonata known as the Andante Favori, and his piano trio known as the Ghost. Pianist Ivan Konev, violinist Natalia Moiseeva, and cellist Tanya Remenikova will perform.

    Assistant Professor of Environmental and STEM Education Patty Born has published a new book titled Teaching STEM Outdoors. The book aims to help educators and others who work with children to better understand and support the thinking skills and practices associated with science, technology, engineering, and math. It also illustrates the many ways to use nature as a context for learning STEM.

    Join fellow students, faculty, and staff to celebrate the 2017 University Honors graduates on Monday, May 1 at 6 p.m. in Bridgeman Hall, Old Main. There will be a short pinning ceremony followed by a reception with cake. The pins will be worn by students for the Commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 20.
