    Student Testimonial:

My internship has allowed me to learn and understand more about my personal capacity for working in this type of environment. I now have the real world experience with the development of personal skill to boot.
  • Internships

The Hamline internship program is designed to help students apply classroom learning, build professional skills, test career interests, gain confidence and obtain resume-building experience. All of this leads to greater success after graduation.

    Why do an internship?

Internships are a great way to gain professional experience, get credit, and fulfill your Hamline Plan LEAD ("W") requirement at the same time.

Ideally, students should do two internships during their time at Hamline: an exploratory, entry-level internship sophomore year and a more advanced internship junior or senior year.

Meet the Internship Director - Lauren Kavan

"Internships are a great way to 'try-on' careers to see how they fit your interests, skills, and personality. With so many fantastic opportunities in the Twin Cities, the sky's the limit when it comes to the type and number of experiences Hamline students can add to their resumes!"
