Information for Employers

At Hamline University we understand the time constraints and resource restrictions you face as an employer--we face them as well! That is why we work hard to develop services and programs that are flexible and simple for employers to use.

Our goal is to help Hamline students integrate their classroom learning with the workplace and help you connect with these talented students in order to create successful working relationships for internships, part-time positions, and full-time employment. We look forward to working with you!  

Free job and internship posting

Hamline Career Link is the Career Development Center's online job posting, recruiting, and communication system. Employers can post positions directly, search students' resumes, schedule recruiting events, and join Piper Connect.

On-campus recruiting

We offer several ways for you to recruit on-campus including information sessions, interviewing, and tabling.

1. Information Session
Present information about your organization and the opportunities you have available to a group of interested students. We can assist you in working out the details. Information Sessions can be requested through Hamline Career Link.

2. Interviewing
On-campus interviewing is available during fall and spring semesters. On-campus interview dates can be requested through Hamline Career Link. We encourage you to schedule early to receive the date of your choice. Contact our office with any questions.

3. Tabling
Set up a table or a display in a high traffic area during the academic year. This allows you to promote yourself with students as they are passing through the building. Tabling can be requested through Hamline Career Link as well. 

Other recruiting opportunities

Minnesota Private Colleges' Job and Internship Fair is held every February at the Minneapolis Convention Center and provides an outstanding opportunity for employers to meet over 1500 candidates.

Minnesota Education Job Fair is held in April and is a great resource for school districts seeking teacher candidates.

Government and Nonprofit Career Fair is held every October and is available to local, county, state, and federal government agencies seeking internship and job candidates.
