Statement of Purpose
The purpose of Student Affairs is to offer inclusive opportunities and diverse services that foster the development of the whole student.
Division Overview
Student Affairs Division coordinates with a variety of campus offices that provide programs and services to students. It has the primary responsibility to make the out-of-classroom environment an integral aspect of student’s education. This is done through the work of Student Affairs professionals who understand the development of college students and are committed to enriching the lives of Hamline students. Alan Sickbert, the Dean of Students, oversees this area.
The following offices and services are comprised of professionals who anticipate, solve, and manage the daily activities of the students that constitute their area of responsibility in Student Affairs:
