About Academic Advising Purpose Our purpose is to enrich students’ academic lives by offering accurate and timely academic advising. Prior to joining Hamline in 2000, she taught Spanish and worked as an advisor in the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Minnesota. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, reading, downhill skiing, and working out. Mike NoreenAssistant Director Mike earned his master of arts in English from Iowa State University. Prior to coming to Hamline he worked for four years as an advisor in the Student Support Services Program at Iowa State. Mike enjoys spending his free time with his wife and young kids, playing with his Golden Retriever, and relaxing at his cabin during the summer months. Megan JahnkeProgram Coordinator Megan earned her Bachelor of Arts in Public Communications from UW – Eau Claire. Prior to coming to Hamline she worked in Human Resources at Argosy University and then transitioned into Student Finance, also at Argosy. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, camping, reading and traveling.
