Liberian officials are conducting Truth and Reconciliation hearings with Liberians who fled their home country to the United States during the 27-year civil war in Liberia. AllAfrica.com reports this is the first time any nation has conducted such hearings outside of the country where the atrocities occured. The Advocates for Human Rights, which is based in Minnesota, is helping to coordinate and implement the hearings, which are taking place at Hamline.

He also appeared the following morning on KARE11-TV as a political analyst to discuss election results. Schultz has completed dozens of interviews on a variety of political issues in the past few months leading up to the elections, including interviews with Reuters, the Star Tribune, and Bloomberg.
