Description: As green goes mainstream, how will cities respond?  Join us for an exploration of the environmental vision of the Sustainable St. Paul Initiative and the sustainable aspects of Hamline University's strategic plan.  What is St. Paul doing to become a green, more sustainable city?  What is Hamline University doing to support and complement the city’s green agenda?

To receive credit: $25 (for Graduate School of  Management, or CEUs).

Panelist Biographies:

Mayor Chris Coleman
City of St. Paul, Minnesota. He was elected by the people of Saint Paul and became the 45th Mayor of the City of Saint Paul upon taking office in January 2006.  He is a lifelong Saint Paul resident. He attended St. Luke’s, graduated from Cretin in 1979, attended undergrad at the University of Minnesota and graduated from the U of M law school in 1987.  He enjoys camping, hiking, coaching his kids' sports, running along trails in Saint Paul’s parks, listening to music and playing the bagpipes.

Anne Hunt
Environmental Policy Director, City of St. Paul.  She has been involved in neighborhood engagement activities for a number of years, and won the leadership in Neighborhoods Program Award from The St. Paul Companies in 1998.  She lives in Saint Paul and earned a B.A. in English from the University of Minnesota.
