Hamline Represented at American Society for Public Administration Conference

Jane Krentz, director of the McVay programs, Jim Scheibel, executive in residence in the School of Business, Kris Norman-Major, director of public administration programs, along with Merrie Benasutti, Center for Integrative Leadership at the University of Minnesota, presented a best practices workshop at the annual American Society for Public Administration (ASPA) conference in Las Vegas on March 2. The workshop, "From Command to Community: Building Civic Engagement through Campus-Community Partnerships" highlighted programs at Hamline and the U of MN Humphrey School that put citizens at the center of work to address community issues and build civic engagement through collaboration and partnership between higher education and community and public organizations.
