Hamline’s innovative MAT/Initial Licensure Program has an exceptional academic reputation and is fully accredited. The program prepares you for your initial teaching license; qualified students are also eligible to earn the Master of Arts in Teaching degree upon obtaining licensure. This program is ideal for working adults who want to enter a meaningful profession, or for students who have completed undergraduate degrees and have decided they want to teach in the K-12 schools.
