  • Make a Difference - Give to Hamline

Every so often in the life of a university, a single year stands out as having changed the course of history. This promises to be one of those years.

In this special year, we’re asking you to support Hamline in two specific ways. As we do every year, we’re asking you to make a gift to our Annual Fund. However, this request comes with a more profound impact than ever before. Hamline has committed to increasing the amount of financial aid available, allowing the university to continue making a Hamline education accessible to high-quality, deserving students.

Your gift to the Annual Fund will support access to a Hamline education for those who might not be able to attend without financial assistance.

Additionally, as we construct what will be a transformational new building, we ask you to consider making a gift to the University Center campaign. This new facility will truly be the heart of today’s campus, becoming the home for a host of activities—both programmatic and social—and a place that will frame memories of Hamline for the alumni of tomorrow.

SPECIAL RECOGNITION OPPORTUNITY AVAILABLE NOW THROUGH JUNE 30, 2012

Make a lasting impression at Hamline. Be part of the new Alumni Way.

See your name engraved on a brick – or honor a loved one with his or her name – as recognition for a qualifying gift to one of five priority areas (see above/below).

All our goals are achievable with your support. Make a difference by giving to one of five priority areas:

  • News
    • Religion professor Mark Berkson was awarded a contract to record a 24-lecture DVD series with the leading publisher of audio and video courses.
    • Kevin Clemens has the kind of background that would make even the most diehard gearhead envious: stints working for Michelin and Automobile magazine, a transportation reporter fellowship at the University of Michigan, and founding a publishing company devoted to automotive books.
    • The Anderson Center is on track to open this fall and is poised to challenge the digital age in its call for human interaction (the face-to-face kind).
