Weekday JD Hamline's Full-time JD Program In our innovative Weekday JD program, our faculty take a fresh approach to legal education, weaving experiential learning opportunities into every facet of our curriculum. By taking a minimum of 12 credits in each of six semesters, you can complete your degree and be on your way to a successful law practice in as little as three years. You can enter Hamline Law in the fall, or, if you are transferring from another ABA-accredited law school, you may enroll in the fall or spring. We follow a traditional academic calendar with two semesters each year. You are not required to take class in the summer or during J-term but those are great times for gaining a certificate through one of our Institutes or participating in study abroad programs. Classes taken during those sessions do not expedite your degree completion. We begin accepting applications in October and admit students on a rolling basis until the incoming fall class is full. Apply Now Hamline University is registered as a private institution with the Minnesota Office of Higher Education pursuant to sections 136A.61 to 136A.71.
