    Tour the Federal REserve Bank of Minneapolis

    They'll show us the money!  Register in Symplicity by November 14.  Space will be limited to 20 students.  Registration confirmation will include driving and parking directions.

    To enter the FED you must have a photo ID and pass through a scanner.  Following the tour there will be Q & A with HUSL alum, Melissa Rosenbaum,  Senior Counsel for the Minneapolis Federal Reserve; and Niel Willardson, Senior Vice President and General Counsel of the Minneapolis Federal Reserve Bank and Business Law Institute Advisory Board member.

    *Any event sponsored by the MSBA Business Law Section qualifies as an Extra-Curricular Activity meeting BLI certificate requirements. MSBA also distributes a monthly law student email that includes information about upcoming events. 

    Volunteer Opportunities

    Volunteering with a nonprofit such as those below is a great way to build your resume.

    • AccountAbility Minnesota provides tax and financial services for those in need.
    • HOME Line is a tenant advocacy organization.
    • Project Homeless Connect: the Minneapolis chapter holds one-day events at the Minneapolis Convention Center to connect the homeless with multiple services.
    • ProJustice MN is a source for meeting aspirational pro bono hours (and practical experience) that also provides networking opportunities and CLEs.
