Washington Monthly Rankings

Washington Monthly has again recognized Hamline University in its annual college rankings.

Hamline ranked first in Minnesota and 18th nationwide in its category of top “Master’s Universities.” According to Washington Monthly, the rankings measure and quantify how well individual colleges and universities are meeting their public obligations in the areas of research, service, and social mobility.

Here are some other Minnesota schools that made the rankings lists: In "Master's Universities" category- Augsburg (#66), University of Minnesota- Duluth (#109), Saint Cloud University (#149), Metropolitan State University (#219), Bethel University (#256), St. Catherine's University (#258), University of Minnesota-Moorhead (#293), University of Minnesota-Mankato (#412), Bemidji State University (#415), Winona State (#436), College of St. Scholastica (#459), Concordia University-St. Paul (#522); in the "National Universities" category- University of Minnesota- Twin Cities (#35); and in the "Liberal Arts Colleges" category- Carleton College (#2), Macalester College (#7), St. Olaf College (#41), St. Benedict (#54), Gustavus (#63), and Saint Johns University (#98).
