A piece of curriculum written by School of Education adjunct faculty member Kathryn Campbell for a British literature course was published in the Minnesota English Journal
this week. The assignment, “The Women of Beowulf
,” encourages students to take a closer look at female leadership roles in the classic text. Along with the piece is a selected writing sample from senior Emily Ross, of St. Paul Academy and Summit School. The Minnesota English Journal
is the professional journal of the Minnesota Council of Teachers of English.
