Kruse Presents at Law Review Symposium

Hamline School of Law Professor Kate Kruse presented a paper titled, Legal Education and Professional Skills Training: Myths and Misconceptions, at the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law's symposium on the state and future of legal education in April. Kruse joined distinguished panelists Kent Syverud (chair of the ABA Council on Legal Education and Dean at Washington University-St. Louis); Carrie Menkel-Meadow (professor at University of California-Irvine); John Osborne, Jr. (professor at University of San Francisco and author of The Paper Chase); Gerry Hess (Gonzaga University), Richard Matasar (vice president for University Enterprise Initiatives at NYU), and others. The symposium explored the changing nature of legal education in response to economic and technological changes in the legal profession.
