Sue Myster, professor and director of Hamline's forensic sciences program
, was featured in a story on WCCO
regarding her work with the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA). Myster is part of a group effort helping to identify human remains in order to solve missing persons cases. Myster is examining hundreds of bones and bone fragments to determine the age, gender, and ethnicity. The DNA of the remains will be compared to the DNA of family members of missing persons to identify possible matches.
