Kathryn Geurts Delivered Keynote at Oxford University

Kathryn Geurts, associate professor of anthropology in the College of Liberal Arts, was invited to give the keynote speech, for the sessions organized by medical anthropology, at the conference, Illness Narratives Revisited: From the Semiotics of Language to the Materiality of Speech, in December 2012. The conference was sponsored by The University of Oxford and the Max Planck Institute. Geurts invited her Ghanaian research assistant and collaborator, E.G. Adikah to join her on the platform to field the question and answer portion of her address.
