Women's Basketball Hoping To Streak Into Holidays

Cassidy Vogt

As road trips go, this one is fairly short -- just a couple of miles up the road. The Hamline women's bb team would like it to be as much fun as their last ride on Snelling Ave. That was last Saturday, when thanks to Jordan Sammons' big game (23 points, career high 14 rebounds) and some clutch shooting from folks like Cassidy Vogt (pictured), HU made it two wins in a row with a 59-50 decision at Bethel.

Hamline goes for three in a row Friday night, December 14 when they face Northwestern (MN) in a 5:00 p.m. affair.

The Pipers will take a 2-5 overall mark into the games with Eagles, who improved to 3-5 after a 79-52 win over North Central earlier this week. This is Hamline's last game before the holiday break. HU resumes action against Macalester at Hutton Arena on Wednesday,  January 2 at 7:30 p.m.
