Hamline Law Professor Joseph Olson recently shared his expertise on the law of self-defense with multiple news outlets following two recent shootings.
After two kids were killed when breaking into a Minnesota man's home on Thanksgiving, Olson was quoted twice in Newsweek. He was interviewed by Winston Ross for the blog, "The Daily Beast." Olson was quoted in a Star Tribune article and interviewed by MPR News as well.
This week, Olson also spoke to the Star Tribune about an incident involving a shooting in Rochester, Minn.
Olson has written chapters in three books on the law of self-defense and testified before the Minnesota Legislature on the subject.
