Brendan Ruter (pictured) finished 24th and Nate Dobbins was 25th as Hamline's men's cross country team finished in 9th place at the NCAA Central Regional in Northfield. Although that won't be enough to qualify for the NCAA tournament next week, the pair will join Nathan Rock, who finished 34th on the All-Region team. "That's quite an accomplishment," said coach Paul Schmaedeke. "That's as many as we got last year. We went into the meet ranked 10th and finished ninth. Those are positives."
