James Riley, who graduated from Hamline in 2012 with a Master of Arts in English as a Second Language, was recently awarded the outstanding EFL  teaching award at Daegu University in Daegu, South Korea. He completed his entire MA degree at Hamline online, and did his capstone based on a writing program that he developed for Korean students. "The [Hamline MA in ESL] program was outstanding and really helped prepare me for my position at the university here in Daegu," says Riley. He has also volunteered to represent Hamline University at teacher conferences in Korea.
