Rob Frankovich, Hamline's Taekwondo course instructor, recently brought three students to Korea to compete at the 2012 Haidong Gumdo World Championships. Haidong Gumbo is a from of Korean sword art. The event took place in Seoul, South Korea from July 9th - 17th. The USA Team consisted of 35 members plus nine coaches. This team included three Minnesota athletes along with Frankovich. Two of his students, Nicole Winckler & Brandon Osborne, qualified to participate in the final round and placed 2nd and 3rd, respectively.
