MFAC faculty Eleanora Tate was honored with a Circle of Elders Award at the National Association of Black Storytellers conference in Atlanta. The award recognizes Eleanora's "years of involvement and commitment to the African Oral Tradition and her honored presence in the storytelling community."

Eleanora's story, "Everything That Goes Around Comes Around," was published in the anthology, What Writers Do, part of the Lenoir-Rhyne University Writers Series.
