Klas Field Becomes The State Track Capital This Weekend

For the seventh year in a row, the focus of the Minnesota Track and Field community will be on Klas Field. That's where the state's best prep runners, leapers and throwers will compete as Hamline University hosts the 90th annual MSHSL Track and Field Meet. The event kicks off Friday, June 8 and continues on Saturday, June 9.

A ticket gains admission for the complete day's of events. The costs are $10 for adults and $7 for students.

On June 8, the full card starts at 9:00 a.m. with the Class AA Girls' 3200 Meter Final and several field events. The last scheduled event the first day is the Class A Boys 4 x 400 Relay prelims at roughly 7:00 p.m.

On June 9, action resumes at 9:00 a.m. and goes all day with the team award ceremonies scheduled to start about 7:00 p.m.
