School of Business professor David Schultz has been named a
2012 SuperProfessor by FacultyRow.
Schultz is one of only 145 academics in the United States to receive the award
in its inaugural year.
“I am honored to have received this recognition,” Schultz
said. “But the real reward is working with students and combining the classroom
experience with my research. What really makes for a SuperProfessor is a person
who brings together, research, teaching, and community service. The best
teachers I had in school did that and that is the model I have tried to follow
in my career.”
SuperProfessors are a peer-reviewed group of academics that
consistently demonstrate excellence, passion, and clarity, throughout their
academic careers. Often, these individuals are considered academic experts.
FacultyRow’s website states that it is the leading social network of America's
Top Faculty and researchers and its mission is to recognize and empower the
leading academics in America. Currently, the network has over 91,000 members in
103 countries.
