Professors and Student Present

Three members of the Hamline community recently presented at the Upper Midwest Regional American Academy of Religion Meeting in St. Paul.
Deanna Thompson, professor of religion, was a panelist on a panel entitled, "Feminist Theology Goes Confessional: Transformative Trajectories in the Tradition of Martin Luther."

Michael Riley, senior in the College of Liberal Arts, gave a presentation entitled, "His Eye on the Complex Sparrow: An Examination of the Liminal Space Between the Black Church and Homosexuality and the Difficulties of Being Black, Queer, and Christian."

Carissa Wyant, adjunct instructor in the College of Liberal Arts, presented a paper entitled, "Religious Nonviolent Education: A Roadmap for Peace and Understanding."
