had a night to remember but it wasn't enough as Hamline's women BB team lost, 57-42, at Augsburg Wednesday night. The freshman sensation had 14 points and a season high 13 rebounds but Hamline could connect on five second half baskets.
The Pipers are now 6-14 overall, 5-12 in the MIAC.
Hamline shot a solid 45.8 per cent in the first half and trailed by just 30-28 at halftime. Both defenses stiffened at the start of the second half. The Pipers trailed by just 41-35 with 9:27 to play. But the Auggies scored seven unanswered points and that was too big a deficit to overcome.
The Pipers will look to rebound Saturday at 3:00 p.m. when they host St. Benedict at Hutton Arena in their second-to-last home game of the season. Game time is 3:00 p.m.Box Score Here
