Men 4th, Women 5th at UST Invite

Ingrid Haugan continues to impress the MIAC diving world. The sophomore finished fifth (in a field of 24) in the 1-Meter competition and 10th in the 3-Meter competition at the St. Thomas Invitational this weekend. Haugan's efforts in those two events were good for 21 of the Pipers' overall total of 161 points. Trisha Molitor was 8th in the Women's 50-yard freestyle. Her time of 25.94 was a mere .77 out of landing her in the Piper All-Time Top Ten listing.

Hamline finished  fifth in the eight-team women's field, defeating conference foes St. Mary's, Augsburg and Gustavus.

Ben Smidt finished 11th in the 100-Meter Butterfly for the top men's finish. Overall, Hamline's men took fourth place out of six teams, besting St. Mary's and Gustavus.
