Faculty Members Top Book Lists

Two faculty members in the low-residency Master of Fine Arts in Writing for Children and Young Adults (MFAC) program are being recognized for the very high quality of their work. Gary Schmidt's new novel, Okay for Now, has been named a finalist for the National Book Award in young people's literature. Okay for Now also leads the list of Amazon's Best Books of 2011 for middle-grade readers. Also on this top-ten list is faculty member Anne Ursu's novel, Breadcrumbs.
