Christian Congregations as Public Moral Companions

The Event is part of the 25th Anniversary Celebration for the Journal of Law and Religion.

Dr. Gary Simpson, Professor of Systematic Theology at Luther Theological Seminary, will speak on February 15 at 8:30 a.m. at the next Journal of Law and Religion breakfast. Dr. Simpson has considerable expertise in political theology and contemporary social philosophy. He is the author of War, Peace, and God (2007); Critical Social Theory: Prophetic Reasoning, Civil Society and Christian Imagination (2002); and Reciprocity and Political Theology (1984). He will be speaking on "Christian Congregations as Public Moral Companions." The Journal of Law and Religion will provide a continental breakfast for participants who RSVP to Linda Berglin at lberglin@hamline.edu or 651-523-2082.
