Laura Randall has been named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-Midwest Region Third Team, the association announced yesterday.
Randall finished the season with a .350 batting average, tallying 34 RBIs. Her hits included five doubles, a triple, and four home runs.
She was especially effective in conference play for the Pipers, hitting .492 against MIAC opponents. 23 of her RBIs came in conference play. She had a slugging percentage of .698 and an on-base percentage of .566 in MIAC play.
The Pipers finished fourth in the conference this year, earning their third post-season tournament berth in head coach Jim Rubbelke's four-year tenure. Hamline finished the season with an overall record of 12-19 and was 14-8 in conference play.Complete All-Region lists
