Pipers drop road contest to Oles

The St. Olaf College women's tennis team didn't provide great hospitality to the Pipers, as they defeated Hamline University, 9-0, in an MIAC contest on Tuesday afternoon.

Hamline's closest matches came in doubles, with Carissa Wallerich and Anna Yarbrough dropping an 8-5 match at third doubles.

Kristen Kiemele and Nicole Krier lost at second doubles, 8-3, and Kelsey Eatherton and Nora McGraw lost their first doubles match by a score of 8-4.

Hamline is now 2-10, 1-4 MIAC while St. Olaf is 9-2, 6-0 MIAC. The Pipers next play on Saturday, April 9, at 10:00 a.m. against St. Thomas. The match will be played on the campus of St. Paul Academy and Summit School.
