The Pipers were one of 27 teams ranging from Division I to club programs to participate in the race.
Branigan ran to the finish in 22:28.7. Jessica Kociscak (Jr., Ramsey,
Minn.) was the second Piper to finish, placing 61st in 23:33.2.
Katie Drinane (Sr., Roseville, Minn.), Rachel Glissmann (Sr., Omaha,
Neb.), Sara Holland (So., Dousman, Wis.), Lauren Howe (Jr., Siren, Wis.)
and Rachel Simmer (Sr., Champlin Park, Minn.) came across the line
within 45 seconds of each other to round out the Piper scoring.
Drinane was 102nd in 24:14.3 while Glissmann finished 108th in
24:18.0. Holland was 119th in 24:31.5, Howe was 127th in 24:47.7, and
Simmer finished 130th in 24:57.0.
The Pipers will have this weekend off from competition as they
prepare for the MIAC Championships at Como Golf Course on Saturday,
October 31st. The women's championship race is scheduled to start at
