The Pipers' mixed 200-yard medley relay team of Kryslyn Kalkbrenner (So., Eden Prairie, Minn.), Marreya Bailey (Sr., Brooklyn Park, Minn.), Will Khoury-Hanold (Sr., Kingsford, Mich.), and Isak Vartti (Fy., Hugo, Minn.) finished ninth in the first event of the meet. They swam the event in 1:53.41.
In the 300-yard breaststroke relay, Tyler Lambert-Perkins (Sr., Fargo, N.D.), Tyler Anderson (Jr., North Mankato, Minn.), Ryan Wakefield (Jr., Inver Grove Heights, Minn.), and Noah Johnson (Sr., Fergus Falls, Minn.) finished ninth with a time of 4:00.22.
Hamline placed seventh with a time of 2:53.58 in the 300-yard butterfly relay with the team of David Janezich (Jr., Minneapolis, Minn.), Wakefield, Vartti, and Khoury-Hanold.
Wakefield, Johnson, Lambert-Perkins, and Khoury-Hanold were tenth in the 300 backstroke with a finish of 3:20.24. In the 400-yard IM relay, Johnson, Vartti, Wakefield, and Lambert-Perkins were tenth in 4:52.37.
They wrapped up competition with the 1100-yard animal relay, as the team of Khoury-Hanold, Vartti, and Janezich placed fifth, touching the wall in 13:03.26.
The Pipers will next swim at home on Saturday, November 7, at 1:00 p.m.
