Hughes had a 9.600 on the vault for the victory.
Alisha Anderson (Sr., Spring Lake Park, Minn.) and Kristen Weniger (Sr., Eagan, Minn.) finished second and third, respectively, on the parallel bars. Anderson had a score of 9.400 while Weniger had an 8.975.
Weniger also had a top-three finish on the balance beam, finishing second with a 9.425 en route to a second place finish in the all-around. Her other scores were a 9.375 on vault and an 8.850 on the floor exercise for a total of 36.625.
Molly Weber (So., Taos, N.M.) was third in the all-around with 36.425 points (9.175-vault, 8.725-parallel bars, 9.350-beam, 9.175-floor exercise). She finished third in the floor exercise, as well.
The Pipers will host the Air Force Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 1 in their last meet before the NCGA west regional meet.
