Weber opens season by placing second in all-around

The Pipers tallied 154.275 points to the Titans' 170.625 points in the dual meet.

Weber placed second in vault (8.950) and balance beam (8.675) en route to tallying 34.450 points to place second in the all-around. She was fourth on the uneven parallel bars (8.900) and fifth in floor exercise (8.550).

Lynn Robohm (So., Rosemount, Minn.) tied with Weber for second on the vault. She was also fourth on the balance beam with a score of 8.575 and in the floor exercise with 8.875.

Melissa Thomas (Jr., Long Beach, Calif.) placed second on the bars with a score of 8.900 and was fourth on the vault with an 8.800. 

The Pipers will next compete on Friday, January 15, at UW-Eau Claire. The meet is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m.
