The Division I Gophers won the meet with a score of 194.950. Winona
State was second with 178.725 points, Gustavus Adolphus was third with
172.750, and Hamline finished fourth with 167.800 points.
Weber tallied a 35.975 (9.125 - vault, 8.175 - bars, 9.400 - beam,
9.275 - floor). Her sixth place finish on the balance beam was the best
DIII performance on that apparatus, as well.
She placed ninth on floor and was the fourth-place DIII athlete.
Melissa Thomas (Jr., Long Beach, Calif.) placed tenth on floor exercise with a 9.250.
Corrine Stiffler (Fy., Flemington, N.J.) was seventh in the
all-around with 34.925 points (8.900 - vault, 8.050 - bars, 8.800 -
beam, 9.175 - floor).
The Pipers return home to Walker Fieldhouse on Friday, February 12, to host Gustavus Adolphus at 6:00 p.m.
