“Student Success Lunch Series” Sponsored by Hedgeman Center 11:30 am—12:30 pm ANDC 315 This program is designed to introduce students to campus resources, services and topics that may be of interest or support to them. Students are invited to the Hedgeman Center over the Tuesday convocation hour to have lunch and participate in informational workshops in a welcoming and relaxed environment. • Lunch provided for students without a meal plan. If left unaddressed, the stresses of college life can sometimes lead to serious problems like depression. In this workshop, psychologists Shih-Hsun Lin and Dr. Jenny Roper from Counseling & Health Services will describe the "red flags" to watch out for, and will illustrate some easy-to-use techniques for managing stress and preventing depression. February 26 – Internship/Scholarship information Want to know how to impress employers in the interview setting? We'll cover the strategies and skills necessary to make a splash in your interview. Learn to how highlight your skills, experiences, and talents, and avoid the mistakes that will get you crossed off the list. Gain confidence that what you convey in the interview will be the "best you" you can be! March 5 - Create a Successful Resume This interactive session will help you build a stronger resume. In this workshop we will go over the basics of a strong resume. We will go over some tips to help make your resume, such as informed design choices in creating a resume, tweak your resume to ensure it will get your future employers attention!
