J-Term NON-VIOLENCE Training Workshop Jan. 27-28

The Wesley Center is offering a free 10 hr. workshop in non-violence training starting on Sunday, Jan. 27th from 2pm to 9pm, continuing on Monday Jan. 28th from 9am to 2pm.  This is a community-building and spiritually-grounded program for students interested in exploring the power of active nonviolence--in our own lives and in impacting social change.  Space is limited, meals included, so register with Chaplain Nancy, nvictorinvangerud01@hamline.edu, or 651-523-2750.  Facilitators will be Joan Haan and Katherine Wojtan, trainers with the national program, Creating a Culture of Peace: Non-violence Training for Personal and  Social Change (www.creatingacultureofpeace.org).
