Description: Jehovah Lutheran Church is hosting a Bible study called “Justice for the Poor” at 9:30 a.m. Sundays through Dec. 9, based on the biblical vision that links poverty with justice. Jesus’ life and teaching show a deep compassion toward the poor and marginalized. The DVD-led session features teaching by Jim  Wallis, author, pastor and editor of Sojourners magazine. The free sessions begin Sunday, Nov. 4. The church is at 1566 Thomas in St. Paul. Snacks are available.
