
Anne Ursu
Anne Ursu is the author four middle grade fantasy books and novels for adults. Her latest book, Breadcrumbs, was selected for NPR's Backseat Book Club. It was also an Amazon.com, Publishers Weekly, BCCB, School Library Journal best book of the year, as well as a NCTE notable book and a Junior Library Guild Selection. She is also the author the books that comprise the Cronus Chronicles trilogy-The Shadow Thieves, The Siren Song, and The Immortal Fire--and two novels for adults. She has been a finalist for Borders Original Voices Award, was a Barnes and Noble Discover Great New Writers pick, and her books have been selections of Book-of-the-Month Club and the Literary Guild.
As a journalist and free-lance writer, Anne published weekly articles on theater and the arts in City Pages and The Portland Phoenix and has written for Glamour and the Washington Post Book World, Salon.com, and Espn.com. She lives in Minneapolis with her young son and copious cats.
