Hamline University currently has a visual identity system that does not accurately communicate the university’s mission, vision, values, and brand promise. It was created in 1990, when Hamline was a very different university than what it is today. At this time of change, new vision, and excitement, the current system no longer meets the university’s needs.
To correct this deficiency, and to communicate a new vision and direction for the university, Hamline will develop a new visual identity system that will translate its mission, vision, and brand into visual messages that successfully communicate the Hamline experience to students, prospective students, and other audiences important to its success.
